Returning Soon!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is staying cool in this early summer heat wave we are having!

I know I have been missing in action lately and I wanted to let you know that I will be back to blogging soon!

I haven't had much free time in the past 4 weeks as I recently accepted a great opportunity and am back to working in a corporate office full time. It all happened very quickly! I only had 4 days between my official offer letter and my start date right after Memorial Day. So, it's been a whirlwind these past few weeks, but I am super excited about my new position!!

Don't worry though - I will continue to blog about local events and Mid-Atlantic weekend getaways in my free time. I should be getting back into the swing of things on the blog in the next week or so :)

Although I don't have many vacation days available this summer while gearing up for busy season at my new job, I am continuing to plan some quick and easy weekend road trips in nearby parts of MD, VA and PA. I look forward to sharing those with you!
